The Cove Bay Hotel’s charm emanates from the early 1800s, when it was a coaching inn. Situated on a peninsula overlooking the North Sea, in the south of Aberdeen, it has been looked after by the same family for decades.
Nearby castles, distilleries, beach walks, golf courses and dolphin watching all add to our welcoming nature. With sea facing rooms and restaurant, it is a wonderful base from which to explore Aberdeen and the countryside around it.

The roast, done properly.
Traditional roast beef with family and friends every Sunday. Succulent Aberdeen Angus, roast and mash potatoes, seasonal vegetables, Yorkshire pudding, delicious gravy and, of course, being in Aberdeen, it has to be served with skirlie.
We strongly recommend booking in advance, especially if you would like a window seat.

The pub is affectionately known as The Cover, and it has a real community spirit, where different generations continue to gather for a pint and a blether, and have been for over two hundred years.
Bring your family, your friends and the dog, for a coffee, a drink or a bite to eat. Watch the sport, play pool, or just watch the dolphins from the window. Whatever the reason you come in, it is always nice to see you.
